The exFan project participated in this year’s Long Night of Research (Lange Nacht der Forschung) in Vienna, joining researchers and institutions across the city in opening their doors to the public.
Hosted at TU Wien, the event provided visitors with the opportunity to explore ongoing research activities and interact directly with scientists and research teams. As part of the exhibition, the exFan team presented the project’s demonstrator and shared insights into the project’s objectives and current developments.
In addition to the demonstrator, visitors were invited to take part in a hands-on experiment exploring the heat transfer properties of different materials. The interactive setup encouraged discussions around the scientific principles behind the project and attracted strong interest throughout the evening.
The event was a great success, with many visitors engaging with the exFan team, asking questions, and showing enthusiasm for the research presented.
The exFan team remains committed to sharing its work with a broader audience!
The Long Night of Research is Austria’s largest public research event and aims to make science and innovation accessible to a broad audience through interactive presentations, demonstrations, and direct exchange with researchers.
